Inchcape opens trouble-shooting North Africa cargo desk in Algeciras
INCHCAPE Shipping Services has opened a new North Africa operations desk in Algeciras to co-ordinate shipments to and from Libya, Algeria and Morocco, the company announced.
"Providing a new single point of contact for North Africa will deliver quick and decisive solutions to global customers using extensive local knowledge and contacts," the company statement said.
Operating 24/7, the North Africa operations desk will be headed up by Gavin Griffin, General Manager for Gibraltar, Iberia and North Africa, supported by Operations Manager, Julian Isola, and an expert team in dealing with problems in "challenging situations".
The North Africa operations desk will cover all markets including offshore, ro-ro and container liner agency, project cargo, dry bulk ports and terminals and oil and gas ports and terminals.
Inchcape Shipping Services is a maritime services provider with more than 290 proprietary offices in 67 countries, and a staff 3,660. ISS provides landside commercial and humanitarian logistics, transit, offshore support, informational and other associated marine services.
