Hanjin Shipping to raise Asia-Europe rates US$600/TEU on December 16
SOUTH KOREAN flag carrier, the world's seventh largest container shipping company, has announced it will impose a rate increase for dry, reefer and special cargo on Asia-Europe trade effective December 16.
Rates will increase by US$600 per TEU and $1,200 per FEU for services from Far East (including Japan) and south east Asia to north Europe, the Baltic and Scandinavia as well as services from Indian subcontinent and to Middle East and north Europe, the Baltic and Scandinavia and services from Far East (including Japan) and south east Asia to Mediterranean and north Africa.
