Symbiotics signs deal to deliver pilot screening to Singapore's WAC
SYMBIOTICS, international specialists in human performance assessment, pilot selection and training solutions, has signed a five-year contract to provide Singapore's Wings Aviation Careers (WAC) with ADAPT as part of their Cadet Ready Screening Programme.
Wings Aviation Careers runs a cadet ready programme, providing airlines with candidates to choose from, significantly reducing training costs, a statement said.
Symbiotics will provide WAC with full support on implementing the ADAPT online toolkits, user-licences and handbooks, to conduct analysis and evaluation of candidates wishing to join pilot training programmes at its existing centre in Singapore and at their new test centres in Malaysia and Australia, planned for the near future.
Candidates undergo online tests on personality, maths, physics, FAST (aptitude within the aviation context), cognitive skills, co-ordination and control, flight simulation (the ability to fly a specific route) and English comprehension. Output on test performance is produced for each candidate and Symbiotics will provide on-going guidance on interpreting these reports.
Said Symbiotics CEO Nikki Heath: "Working with WAC in Singapore and their forthcoming test centres in Malaysia and Australia, demonstrates our commitment to growing our international client base and increasing our global footprint."
