CAL Cargo Air Lines starts weekly Frankfurt to Tel Aviv flights
ISRAELI's air cargo carrier CAL Cargo Air Lines has commenced as part of its winter schedule, a weekly direct cargo flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International airport.
The flight is operated by a TNT Airways wide body 747-400 extended range freighter (ERF). The service departs at 2000 hrs on Saturday from Frankfurt, arriving Ben Gurion International airport at midnight.
The newly inaugurated flights intend to strengthen CAL's winter schedule to offer the necessary cargo capacity during the peak weekly periods, reports Israel's Port2Port trade website.
"CAL has again shown its ability to create a service with a high added value, offering high quality cargo service between Germany and Israel," said CAL chief executive Yarom Oren.
