Tianjin airport starts winter flights with 86 serving 65 cities worldwide
TIANJIN airport has started implementing its winter/spring schedule effective immediately to March 30, according to Xinhua's report.
The winter schedule covers 86 services to a total of 65 cities, including 70 domestic services to 52 domestic cities and 16 international services to 13 foreign cities, with 1,670 flights per week. The schedule will have 174 more flights per week than in the winter of 2011, up 12.5 per cent, and 24 weekly flights more than in the summer/fall season this year, up 1.5 per cent.
On domestic service sector, there are six new destinations added to the schedule compared to last winter. They are Guilin, Handan, Lijiang, Luoyang, Tongliao and Weihai. In the meanwhile, two cities, Quanzhou and Shijiahzuang, have been removed from the list.
The domestic destinations are Changsha, Changzhi, Chengdu, Chifeng, Dalian, Datong, Erdos, Fuzhou Fuyang, Guangzhou, Guiyang, Harbin, Haikou, Handan, Hangzhou, Hefei, Hohhot, Huangshan, Kunming, Lanzhou, Lijiang, Luojiang, Nanchang, Nanjing, Nanning, Nantong, Ningbo, Qingdao, Sanya, Shanghai (Hongqiao and Pudong), Shenzhen, Taiyuan, Tongliao, Weihai, Wenzhou, Urumqi, Wuhan, Xian, Xiamen, Yantai, Yinchua, Yulin, Yuncheng, Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Zhuhai, Kaohsiung, Taipei (Songshan and Taoyuan), Taichung and Hong Kong.
Among the above mentioned destinations, Shanghai (Pudong), Dalian, Qingdao, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Ningbo and Zhengzhou will operate both passenger and cargo service to Tianjin. The rest cities operate only passenger service.
International destinations are Amsterdam, Osaka, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Nagoya, Moscow, Seoul, Singapore, Navoi and Jeju. Seoul will operate both passenger and cargo service. Nagoya, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Jeju and Singapore will operate passenger service. While Amsterdam, Osaka, Tokyo, Navoi, Moscow, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk will operate cargo service.
The carriers involved in the schedule are Air China, Tianjin Airlines, Okay Airways, Xiamen Airlines, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Korean Air, Asiana, and low cost airline Scoot Airways.
