LA-Ontario September cargo volume falls 7pc as LAX throughput rises
LA-ONTARIO International Airport's cargo volume in September has fallen seven per cent year on year, attributed to a slowdown in mail and freight shipments.
Declining airport volume has been badly hit by the downturn and relocation of carriers to larger hubs such as LAX, says operator Los Angeles World.
According to latest figures from its, its passenger figures were down by 5.84 per cent year on year. In comparison LAX is up 3.05 per cent for the year.
