ProLogis to spend US$108.2 million on distribution centre in Chongqing

WORLD's leading logistics and industrial facility provider ProLogis recently held talks with Changing's Banan District government on setting up a urban distribution centre.

According to Xinhua's report, the facility will be located in the Chongqing Highway Logistics Base, occupying an area of 35 hectares, entailing an investment of CNY680 million (US$108.2 million).

ProLogis plans to develop the new distribution centre into a standard for such facilities China and even Asia. After completion, the facility can bring tax revenue of CNY35 million every year for the government.
