Evergreen subsidiary and Arkas offer new Genoa-to-Libya 10-day service
EVERGREEN subsidiary Italia Marittima, together with Arkas have commenced a joint service connecting western Italian ports to Libya.
The service named ITL will connect Genoa, Livorno and Naples to Misurata and Tripoli every 10 days, using two 724-TEU ships, with each shipping line providing one of the vessels.
The first sailing from Genoa, Italy was scheduled to depart on October 15.
Both Evergreen and Arkas already have services to Libya that link Marsaxlokk, Alexandria and Near East to Libya, as well as Turkey to Libya
