Sarjak Container Lines wins plaudits as 'NVOCC of the Year' at MALA 2012
SARJAK Container Lines Pvt Ltd has received the "NVOCC of the Year (Special Equipment)" award at the third All-India Maritime And Logistics Awards (MALA) 2012 held at the Vivanta by Taj President in Mumbai.
At the glittering function attended by the "Who's Who" of the maritime and logistics industry, the award trophy and certificate was accepted by Ashish Sheth, managing director of Sarjak Container Lines, from PK Agrawal, CEO of APM Terminals Mumbai and SS Sood, regional manager, CWC.
Mr Sheth was joined on stage to receive the honour by his core team, comprising Kalpesh Jagani, Capt Rumi Engineer Soumen Majumdar and Supal Shah.
"I would like to thank all our valued customers and well-wishers for helping Sarjak win this award," said Mr Sheth.
Sarjak specialises in the transport of Over-Dimensioned Cargo (ODC) in containers, through its fleet of hard top, open top, flat rack and super rack containers. Its substantial asset base of special equipment enables the company to handle shipments that cannot fit into normal containers. The main cargo from the region includes transformers, boilers, chiller units, pressure vessels, sugar manufacturing plants, oil well equipment, and various engineering goods.
