Tianjin to build 250 kilometres of expressways by 2015 to extend network

TIANJIN, gateway to Beijing, plans to build 250 kilometres of expressways by the end of 2015 and to complete an expressway network of 1,550 kilometre by 2020, reports Xinhua.

The projects include 11 new expressways. When completed, it will take one hour to get to suburban towns and to downtown Beijing via expressway, and three hours to northeast China's hinterland and Bohai Rim Region.
