Fujian customs seven-month trade seaport throughput volume up 12.35pc

FROM January to July, Fujian's sea port customs recorded a foreign trade cargo transportation volume of 93.43 million tonnes, an increase of 12.35 per cent compared to the same period in 2011, Xinhua reports.

Containerised cargo volume increased 8.64 per cent to 3.74 million TEU. Inbound and outbound sea shipping passenger volume grew 5.54 per cent to 912,200 people. Air passenger traffic climbed 11.12 per cent to 1.95 million seats.
