Global Ship Lease second quarter back to black in second quarter
LONDON-headquartered Global Ship Lease has announced a increase in second quarter net profit to US$7.5 million back from same period last year's net loss of $11.7 million drawn on revenues of $39.2 million.
The containership charter owner's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation increased to $26.8 million from year previous $25.7 million.
During the quarter it signed time-charters on two vessels from its global fleet of 17 with France's CMA CGM.
