China Southern's July air cargo volume climbs 9.1pc to 98,000 tonnes
THE latest operating figures posted by China Southern Airlines show that the carrier moved 98,000 tonnes of air freight in July, 9.1 per cent more than in July 2011, Xinhua reports.
Cargo on domestic routes grew 1.9 per cent to 68,300 tonnes. Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan freight soared 33.8 per cent up to 1,500 tonnes. International cargo jumped 29.8 per cent up to 28,200 tonnes.
From January to July, China Southern carried a total of 675,000 tonnes of freight, 7.8 per cent higher over the same period last year.
