Logwin delivers Malaysian designer collection to Paris Fashion Week
LOGWIN, leading European logistics operator, has delivered a Malaysian fashion designer's line to Tranoi Trade Fair during Paris Fashion Week since it launched its "red carpet logistics" service for the fashion trade last year.
Khoon Hooi, owner and Creative Director Clothier Creation Marketing Sdn Bhd, praised the efficient service of Logwin in winning the Logwin Industrial Excellence Award at the Malaysia International Fashion Week. He spoke of its "high professionalism" from documentation, handling and arranging of shipment, the second of his collection.
"Logistics is a critical element in the luxury fashion and lifestyle products sector and it is an area that many designers do not know much about. Our products have a short shelf life and we export them only in a low volume. They must be packaged, handled, stored, transported and delivered in optimum condition and to very tight deadlines," Mr Hooi said.
Its recent opening of a fashion logistics warehouse in Beijing, with more planned in the region in the future, combines transport to, from and within Asia.
