CEVA renews links with UK John West fish cannery for US$20.8 million
CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has announced that it has renewed its links with UK's canned fish brand, John West, with a value of EUR16.9 million (US$20.8 million).
CEVA will continue to collect cleared cargo from the port of Felixstowe and facilitating the onward movement to CEVA's shared user facility in Mendlesham, north of Ipswich.
CEVA also provides customs clearance services and warehousing for John West, covering rework and other value added services, and the management of the entire onward trucking across the UK.
Said John West Foods supply chain director John Tomlinson: "During John West and CEVA's five year partnership, the supply chain management company has effectively expanded its range of services, enabling John West to focus on developing fish products."
Said CEVA regional director Matthew Carroll: "The scope of services we provide to John West has been developed over time and the Mendlesham shared user facility along with CEVA's extensive road distribution network continue to deliver Operational excellence."
