Suifenhe checkpoint trade value to Russia increases 96pc in first half
NORTHERN China's Suifenhe checkpoint bordering Russia posted a 96 per cent year increase in trade value in the first half year on year to US$2.49 billion, reports Xinhua.
Cargo such as crude oil, petroleum products, chemical fertilser and synthetic rubber experienced high growth in import volume and trade value.
The checkpoint's import value to Russia increased 126 per cent to $2.21 billion, while export value dropped 4.4 per cent to $280 million in first half year.
