CWT Globelink expands from Kuwait, opens new Gulf office in Doha
SINGAPORE's CWT Globelink has opened a new office Doha, Qatar, having recently set up a Middle East base in Kuwait, the company announced.
"Qatar ranks as a top economic performer in the region and will play host for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. With our new office, we will be in a much better position to support the market in and out of Doha. Services include handling of both Sea and air freight, customs clearance and trucking," said a company statement.
The new office will be run by its recently appointed local general manager, Nanda Kumar, who has years of experience in Qatar and is well connected locally, said the company.
CWT Globelink has 100 offices in 27 countries, operating in Australia, Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Egypt, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
