DHL adds Shanghai-Dubai LCL link to exploit bilateral trade growth
GERMANY's DHL Global Forwarding has started a second weekly LCL service between Shanghai and Dubai with fresh links to Kuwait and Qatar to meet potential growth in demand.
"With the economic ties between the UAE and China continuing to expand and develop, our direct Shanghai to Dubai LCL service reflects DHL's commitment to nurturing bilateral trade," said DHL's Middle East, North Africa and Turkey forwarding chief Claudio Scandella.
DHL Global Forwarding said its second weekly service offering will allow expand further into its customer base that uses Dubai and its free trade zones as a regional hub. DHL's Danmar Lines will manage the operation.
