Panda Group awarded the TAPA freight security requirements certification
TAIPEI-based Panda Group has announced its Hong Kong warehouse run by its subsidiary Panda Logistics Ltd has been awarded the Transported Asset Protection Association Freight Security Requirements Certification (TAPA FSR).
The company said it is forging ahead to enhance its security system to meet the global standard, which helps protect the highest interest of its customers in the supply chain sector.
Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) is an association of security professionals and related business partners from high technology and high value companies who have come together for the purpose of addressing the emerging security threats that are common to the supply chain industry.
The aim of the TAPA is to provide a forum for responsible managers and share professional information for mutual benefit, the Panda statement said, adding that TAPA was established to share industry's "best practice" and identify target areas that losses are "perceived as occurring".
With a professional workforce of 1,700, Panda Group has presence in the Asia Pacific region and the United States. Panda Logistics Ltd is the group's forwarding arm in Hong Kong, operating self-owned warehouses and a transportation team.
