Hong Kong to reduce ANA, Cathay and SIA in fuel surcharges in August
HONG KONG's Civil Aviation Department has announced that passenger fuel surcharges levied by All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines will be reduced in August, according to a release issued by the Government Information Service.
The new maximum fuel surcharges will be HK$219 (US$28.2) for short-haul flights and HK$973 for long-haul flights. The applicable surcharge levels will be based on the ticket issue date.
