Kerry Logistics expands in Vietnam with new Ho Chi Minh City warehouse
HONG KONG's global logistics provider Kerry Logistics has started building a new 11,000-square-metre warehouse in the Song Thang area of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
Once completed in the first quarter of 2013, the company will have a total of nine warehouses with a capacity of 62,000 square metres in Song Thang to meet growing demand for storage places.
"We have been building our network of warehouses across Vietnam and now have extensive coverage in the north, central and southern regions of the country. In Song Thang, a major centre for freight and logistics services, we have built significant capacity to meet growing local demand for quality warehouse space," said Kerry's Vietnam director, Rosa Du.
Kerry Logistics opened a 10,000-square-metre logistics centre in Hanoi in 2011 providing a broad range of logistics services for the electronics and hi-tech, fashion and garments, food and beverage as well as industrial sectors.
