Dragonair backs recommendations of HK Civil Aviation on aircraft incident
DRAGONAIR has confirmed that it assisted in an investigation by the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) Air Traffic Control Services (ATC) that was triggered by an "incident" on September 18, 2011 involving one of its aircraft.
In response to a release on the completion of the CAD's investigation report, the carrier said in a statement, "We gave assistance by providing our operational procedures for dealing with the loss of separation event. We support the recommendations for airline operators to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future."
The carrier has declined to comment further on the CAD and ATC investigation by claiming such action would be "inappropriate".
