Yangtze River Express launches Chongqing-Singapore freighter service
YANGTZE River Express Airlines, a subsidiary of China's largest private air carrier HNA Group, has inaugurated a new all-cargo service from Shanghai-Pudong via Chongqing to Singapore, Xinhua reports.
The service takes off from Pudong, stops over at Chongqing, Bangkok and Singapore and returns to Pudong. It offers three flights a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using an Airbus 330 freighter. The flight reaches Chongqing's Jiangbei International Airport at 0530 hrs, leaves at 0730 hrs, and can take on 63 tonnes at Chongqing.
With the launch of the new service, Yangtze River Express has become the first cargo carrier that uses Airbus 330 on Chongqing route, while Chongqing airport's scheduled freighter services have increased to 18, covering major cities in Europe, America, Australia and Asia.
