Singapore's Pacific Airlift extends charter reach to South Korea

SINGAPORE's Pacific Airlift, the Asia Pacific partner and co-founder of the Global Charter Alliance (GCA), has appointed G-Air as its sales agent covering South Korea.

G-Air, founded in 2005, focuses on its role as GSA for both cargo and passenger markets with its clients including Transmile Air, Starlight Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Air China and Evergreen Airlines.

"Our appointment as sales agent for Pacific Airlift means we now have direct access to a highly-professional global charter capability that is very relevant to our existing airline principals and freight agent customers, and will also help us to attract new business," said CEO Charles Yang, whose management team include senior executives of both Korean Airlines and Asiana.

The team at G-Air are a strong fit for Pacific Airlift's charter experience and allows its services which include Global Charter Alliance to access a significant market in South Korea, said Pacific Airlift director Andrew Sim in a statement from GCA.

Pacific Airlift (Singapore) Pte Ltd was established as an aircraft charter and freight solution management company in 1999, with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Vietnam and Indonesia.

It is active in all aspects of cargo charter including humanitarian relief movements, plant disaster recovery, oil and gas, AOG, ships' spares and general cargo to areas not served by scheduled carrier services.
