EMS Global Tracking opens Dubai office
EMS GLOBAL Tracking, a division of EMS Technologies, Inc has opened a new office in Dubai to serve the Middle East and Africa region to share with a further division of LXE which offers ruggedised computers for locations such as warehouses and ports.
The company will service governmental departments and overseas companies through a network of value-added resellers and partners and use its pioneering technology of Search and Rescue which can locate and enhance the security of military and civil organisation assets in the world's most remote and hostile places.
LXE and EMS Global Tracking have found synergies in the region where customers require the asset tracking capability of LXE mobile computers to complement EMS Global Tracking technology.
"EMS is committed to the Middle East region and considers Dubai, as a logistics operations hub for the area, an ideal location from which to grow our global tracking business," said Simon van den Dries, vice president of Global Sales, EMS Global Tracking in a company statement.
Faisal Saifullah, EMS Global Tracking's regional sales manager for the Middle East and North Africa region, plans to add staff in early 2011 adding to its pool of employees in various Middle Eastern countries. "The opportunities in the security space are really booming - having more people on the ground will help us to support our customers, grow our market share and improve our revenues from the region," he added.
