On Jan. 6th, Mao Guanglie, the mayor of Ningbo city and vice secretary of Ningbo Municipal Committee, accompanied by vice mayor Yu Hongyi and directors of related departments, made a visit to Ningbo Port and called all the staffs to make concerted efforts to advance the development of Ningbo Port. Leaders of Ningbo Port Stock Co., Ltd., including Li Linghong, Wen Jianyao and Wu Jinkun, were presented during the investigation.
In the morning, Mao Guanglie and the delegation successively inspected the sea-rail combined transportation progress in Ningbo Beilun International Container Terminal Co., Ltd., the status of custom clearance in Ningbo Custom House and the production, operation and logistics of the port. Then, Mao visited Ningbo Gangji Terminal Stevedoring Co., Ltd., paid visit to crane workers on site and had face to face communication with members of Crane Team led by Zhu Shijie. On hearing that the team was popularizing Zhu Shijie operation method and was improving operation method by applying the 4 sets of double-spreader cranes, Mao Guanglie praised staffs for their determination, efforts and pioneering spirit.
