Preface
In the period of China’s Eleventh Five –Year Plan, shipping industry is one of the industries to be mainly supported for development by the State in the Chinese industrial general planning. For the Chinese shipbuilding industry has had a swift and violet development in the past few years, the output continuously has created a historical new high record one after another, and the yearly rate of increase approaches 30%. China’s shipbuilding industry is taking the third place just next to Japan and the Republic of Korea in the world civil shipping market. The Department responsible for China’s shipping industry draws a goal for the Chinese shipping industry that is to  occupy the No. 1 shipbuilding power in the world and step into a developing period from big to strong.

Standard booth fee:(3m x 3m)                          Basic price of open area ( not less than 36 m²)

Domestic booth: domestic enterprises 6,800 Yuan / booth      Domestic enterprises: 700 Yuan / m²

International booth: domestic enterprises 8,000 Yuan / booth   Domestic enterprises: 800 Yuan / m²

Joint enterprises : 12,000 Yuan / booth,                    Joint enterprises:  1,200 Yuan／m²

Foreign enterprises : 2,200 U.S. Dollars / booth,            Overseas enterprises: 220 U.S. dollars／m²

Standard booth costs: including exhibition space, 2.5m high wainscot, lintel brand production, 9m2 carpet, a negotiating table, two chairs, one 220V electrical socket, and two fluorescent lamps.
If the enterprise chooses its exhibition booth or a booth with double exits, an additional 20% cost is needed. Each person should pay 500 Yuan (RMB) for conference fee (for meeting materials, lunch, souvenirs, etc.);
Open area cost includes:exhibition space, security, cleaning services (not including special equipment management fees).
★Exhibition procedures: 
Please mail or fax the Booth Application Form after you fill in it with your badge to the exhibition organizing committee. You should pay for the exhibition fee [50% deposit or complete fees] by telegraph or directly to the organizing committee within one week after you apply the exhibition booth. The distribution principle of exhibition booth is as follows: " application first, remittances first, arrangements first." The remaining fees should be paid off before March 15, 2007, otherwise the organizers will consider this exhibitor would abandon the participation in the exhibition; the payment will not be refunded if the exhibitor drops out in the midway after its registration.
After receiving The Exhibition ApplicationForm and booth fee, the organizers will send the invoice and TheExhibitors Handbook to the exhibitors. The issues about the accommodation of participation representatives and product transportations will follow The Exhibitors Handbook.
★Exhibition proceedings and other advertisements:  
In addition to sending the exhibition proceedings to the relevant authorities, associations and exhibitors during the exhibition, the exhibition proceedings will also be distributed to the domestic and foreign industrial systems and related selling enterprises. Please provide your company introduction by e-mail to the organizing committee (200 characters limited), it will be published on the exhibition proceedings free of charge. E-mail: sunt5680@126.com

★Exhibition activities: 
Product display, trade talks, technological exchanges, academic discussion. The exhibitors can apply for holding technical exchanges meetings, and the cost for each meeting: a domestic enterprise pays 5,800Yuan; a foreign enterprise pays 1,200 U.S. dollars (two hours limited, and the charge is needed according to two hours if less than two hours).
★Target Visitors Invitation and Exhibition Propaganda：
◆The organizing committee will invite domestic and foreign industrial associations, institutions and related enterprises: including ship-owner (shipping company), members of ship-owner associations; shipyards, dockyards; foreign merchant enterprises; businessmen in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan; scientific research academy & institution, designing units; ship survey & classification society. The maritime affairs departments will be invited for visiting, purchase, order and negotiation in the exhibition.     
◆60,000 invitations and 300,000 tickets will be respectively sent out to domestic and overseas target visitors, important buyers and great users. Wide propagandizings will be made through overseas institutions stationed in China including embassies, chambers of commerce and associations, and all kinds of trade organizations.
◆The organizing committee will publish this exhibition’s advertisements in professional websites and magazines of foreign trade service companies and all over the country; handing out exhibition information on large-scale domestic professional exhibitions for inviting visitors and exhibitors; and it will also organize foreign and domestic departments responsible for shipping industry and every selling units to come to Qingdao for the exhibition.
◆The organizer will release the latest news of exhibition stage by stage in the invitation period, so it is convenient for media to omni-directionally report the latest information about the exhibition (during the reporting, partial exhibitors also will be introduced to the public).
◆Release the exhibition advertisements on Qingdao Evening Paper, Morning Paper, Qingdao Finance & Economics Paper, Qingdao Daily, Peninsular City Paper, Great Trader, Qilu Evening Paper, Weifang Evening Paper, Yantai Evening Paper, Shandong TV and other large news media.
