 THIRD CHINA MARITIME EVENT TO HIT HONG KONG

Like the fabled typhoons that hit Hong Kong at the end of each summer, the China Maritime Exhibition and Forums will return to excite the Pearl River Delta region’s maritime industry.

Now into its third showing, China Maritime has become a fixture on the Asian maritime

industry calendar. “The scope of China Maritime is wide”, says organiser Kishore Navani of Baird Events. “It is truly global in context and covers all vessel types and trades from fishing boats, tugs and ferries to tankers, bulkers, container ships and cruise liners.

“China maritime is of interest to and welcomes owners and operators of all kinds of commercial and government vessels, their designers, shipbuilders, agents, managers, financiers, insurers, lawyers, regulators and suppliers of all kinds”, Mr Navani explained.

As well as presenting a major trade exhibition, China Maritime 2010 will be associated with a number of industry association meetings and will sponsor a series of highly focussed Product Presentation Seminars.

There will be as many as fifteen of those seminars presented over the three days of China Maritime from March 16 to 18, 2010. They will include vital new information from:-

.           • Medscreen-Concateno – A presentation on the latest on legally defensible urine testing and
benzine testing of seafarers. Speaker will be Ms Monica Pixley.

.           • Brigantine Services – Mr David Schaus will discuss the important but often ignored subject of oil
sludge disposal and safe room.

.           • Harwood Marine – A revolutionary new 20 percent fuel saving, ultrafine micro-bubble frictional

drag reduction system will be introduced by Mr Yoshiaki Takahashi.
Each of the Product Presentation Seminars lasts for up to an hour. This gives plenty of time for a
detailed presentation, questions and discussion.
