Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC in short) is a large comprehensive shipbuilding enterprise which was established by combining the original Dalian Shipyard Co., Ltd. and Dalian New Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. with CSIC as its holding company. 

DSIC has a vast experience of shipbuilding by virtue of its skilled technical personnel forces and comprehensive manufacturing facilities and equipments. It was certified by the Xin Shi Dai Quality System Certification Body in accordance with the ISO9001; The quality system of ship design and construction audited by DNV is conformed to ISO9001:2000; According to the standard of OHSAS18001-1999 and ISO14001-1996, it was also certified by DNV in terms of Professional Health Safety Management System and Environmental Management System. DSIC possesses approximately 10,000 staff and workers, more than 1400 of whom are technicians and engineers; including 500 qualified senior engineers. DSIC is capable of designing, building and repairing various kinds of ships and producing offshore project products, numerous marine and on-shore mechanical equipments, superstructure and the steel structures for bridges in accordance with classification societies such as CCS, DNV, ABS, LR, GL, BV, NK and many other international conventions and standards.
