Shandong Wendeng Shipyard is located at beautiful Zhangjiabu Harbor, Wendeng city. As a share-holding cooperative enterprise, the shipyard administers several factories, such as Changhuikou Shipyard established in 1958, Bukou Shipyard established in 1982 and Net Twine Factory established in 1984.

Possessing fixed assets of RMB 48 million Yuan and 580 staff containing 46 professional technicians and covering plant area of 160 thousand sq. meters, it is a professional manufactory specialized in ships and fishing nets in Wendeng. Moreover, owning traverse-motion dock-channel of kiloton-tonner and 5 hundred tonner as well as a shipping outfitting quay, the shipyard can manufacture ships below 1500 tonner, such as steel fisher, freighter, glass fiber reinforced plastic fisher and passenger ship as well as fishing net, net twine and woven bag. The production capacities of factories administered by the shipyard are as follows: 

•  Can build steel freighter, barge, oil tanker and others with length of 80 meters and width below 14 meters.
•  Can build all kinds of steel fishers, refrigerator ship and other fishery ships.
•  Can build glass fiber reinforced plastic line fishing boat, trawl and drift boats, passenger ship with length of 30 meters and width bellow 7.5 meters.
•  Can manufacture fishing nets of various specifications, which including bottom net, floating net and deeping as well as rope yarn, woven bag, plastic color printing and other products.
