The need for a well managed and professional concern with quality and timely services was widely felt within the marine services industry. The seeds of J.S. Marine Services （JMS） took fruition when alumnus of DMET Kolkata and management professionals （IIM Bangalore & ISB Hyderabad） with strong linkages to marine industry came together to understand the needs of the industry and to establish a value based presence in identified areas.
