The late Dato’ Seri Tan Hoay Eam was the founder of Su Hock Company in 1946 and incorporated it into a limited company in 1948 with an issued & paid-up capital of RM1 million. It has evolved into an investment holding company, investing in various non-listed and listed companies in rubber and steel manufacturing and retailing, while still running the Shipping Agency in Malaysia.

The company is now managed by his children, many of whom are leading businessmen, sitting on Boards of leading listed companies and charitable organizations.

Our Shipping Agency is professionally managed with its experienced workforce for the past 4 decades. We have been shipping agents for China National Chartering & Corporation Peking, formerly known as ZHONGZU and now SINOTRANS.

Our agency net work covered through-out Malaysian ports and we are agent for most of the tramping vessels calling at the port. The monthly handling throughput of steel product was about 200,000 m/tons.
