Cai Lan Port Investment JSC （CPI） was founded in 2007 with three members who are Vinalines, Quang Ninh Port and Ha Noi General Import Export JSC -Geleximco with VND 410 billions （>30 million USD as in 2008） as a charter capital to construct and operate berths # 2,3,4 at Cai Lan Port.
On 03/06/2008, CPI entered to joint venture entity named Cai Lan International Container Terminal Liability （CICT） under license number 221.022.000.116 with SSA Holdings International - Vietnam （SSAHVN）, a world’’s leading maritime and logistics group.
Under the government’s strategy on development of seaport master plan to 2020 and vision 2030, CPI is applying for expansion project of berths # 8 and 9 at Cai Lan for container operations and logistics services.

CPI is developing a system of warehouses, container freight station and related warehousing services in and outside Cai Lan port.
CPI plans to invest and operate a series of warehouse at the entrance areas of Cai Lan port in order to meet the growing demand of storage/distribution services of bulk cargoes to Cai Lan such as fertilizers, clinker and cement and different kinds of minerals.
CPI has representative offices in Mong Cai, Lang Son and Lao Cai to handle various shipments of cross border trade between Vietnam – China

CPI has a representative in Hai Phong port in order to coordinate/facilitate trading activities and provide quality logistics services to customers

CPI is also trading a wide range of import/export cargoes to different markets. Our strengths are to export construction materials, minerals and wood/timber products….
