In accordance with the “Law of People’s Republic of China of the Prevention and Control of Pollution from Ships Countries Marine Environmental Management Regulation”, and the requirement of “Law of People’s Republic of China Ship Marine Environmental Pollution Emergency Guard Against and Disposal Management”, Tianjin Shenghao Marine Environmental Engineering Co., LTD was founded to capably meet the disposal requirements of pollutants from the marine oil spill emergency； to ensure timely and effective marine oil spill emergency disposal； to improve ship pollution accident emergency disposal； to control, reduce, and eliminate pollution damage to the Marine environment caused by marine vessel accidents when ship pollution has occurred or might occur. The company specializes in ship oil spill emergency disposal, slop receiving, and tank cleaning.

Presently, the company employs five senior command officers fully qualified and trained by the national maritime administration institution. Additionally, there are eleven on-site command officers and forty-eight emergency operation personnel. Shenghao is utilizing eight oil spill emergency support vessels, two oil spill emergency disposal vessels, and one newly constructed state-of-the-art recycling vessel. The recycling vessel is equipped with two embedded receiving machines, the unilateral receiving rate is 75 m ³ / hour； at double functioning this machine is capable of taking in 150 m ³ / hour. There are two sets of stationary oil dispersant spray devices, and a rubber inflatable oil boom of 800 meters. Shenghao has also bought various other machinery that in accordance with the provisions of oil boom, receiving machine, spraying equipment, oil absorption materials, oil spill dispersant mechanisms, discharging devices and other equipment based on the requirements of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China’s emergency guard to reduce pollution by managing the disposal of Marine Ships” .

In order to meet the oil spill emergency, equipments must be stored and maintained in a manner that allows for timely action in the case of emergencies. Concordantly, Shenghao has invested in the construction of an emergency equipment warehouse in Tianjin Port Nanjiang petrochemicals district. The warehouse covers about 1700 square meters, and is constructed of steel. It was completed and has been in use since December of 2011. All of these developments have been made with the view in mind of achieving a more beautiful environment, and a cleaner Ocean. The company’’s goal is to protect the Marine environment, with an insistence on serving the owners of companies with whom we are associated, and to be ever vigilant and alert in the performance of our responsibilities.

To ensure effective treatment and recycling after an oil spill emergency, the company has signed a contract regarding the acceptable treatment of oil sewage with Tianjig Port Sewage Department. At the same time, Shenghao has signed another oil pollution waste agreement with Tianjin Veolia Environmental Services Company. These are on record in the Binhai New Area Environmental Protection Bureau and the Environmental Protection Bureau of Tianjin.
