"k" line orders three more bulkers from shanghai waigaoqiao
kawasaki kisen kaisha ("k" line) has ordered three 176,000 dwt capesizes at shanghai waigaoqiao shipbuilding (sws) for delivery in 2012. "k" line's goal is to have 100 capes in its fleet come fiscal 2013. the firm took delivery of its first sws cape in may this year and have been very satisfied with the quality performance of the ship thus far. sws is part of the china state shipbuilding corp (cssc) empire.
