Daewoo Shipbuilding wins US$566 mln order for drill ship
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., the world's second-largest shipbuilder, said Monday that it has won a 554 billion won (US$566 million) order to build a drill ship. The deal from an American customer calls for Daewoo Shipbuilding to deliver the vessel, used for deep-water oil exploration, by September 2010, the company said in a regulatory filing.
