Changhong shipyard bags order for feeder boxship
Zhoushan Changhong International Shipbuilding has bagged a contract to build one 2,500-teu feeder boxship for Shanghai Zhonggu Logistics, subsidiary of Zhonggu Shipping.
The shipbuilder Changhong is expected to soon start construction on environmentally-friendly vessel, which will be classed by China Classification Society (CCS). Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The feeder vessel will be deployed in Chinese domestic waters, adding on to Zhonggu Shipping’s fleet of around 60 ships.
