New Times Shipbuilding bags order for bulker pair

China’s New Times Shipbuilding Co has recently bagged an order to build two 208,000 dwt dry bulk carriers for South Korea’s Dong-A Tanker Corporation.

The new bulkers would be 300 metres long with a draught of 24.9 metres and a speed of 14.5 knots, according to New Times Shipbuilding.

The delivery dates of the newbuildings and financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
