MHI-MME Exhibits at Marintec South America (ex. Navalshore) 2014

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME) participated in Marintec South America held at Sul America Convention Center in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil from August 12th to 14th. Over 200 guests visited MHI-MME booth which was located in the Japan Pavilion. Most of the visitors took an interest in the boiler and turbine for FPSO and FLNG and marine engines, so that MHI-MME staff explained to those guests about the products and services.

Furthermore, MHI-MME joined the Round-table meeting on Japan-Brazil cooperation in the offshore and shipbuilding sectors which took place on August 11th. Discussions on a variety of topics including shipbuilding supply chain were held at the meeting. This meeting brought the Japanese and Brazil major concerned parties together: the parties include Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDICE), Petrobras, Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Association (ABIMAQ), Alianca Shipyard, Amec Kromav, Protubo and National Union of Building and Ship Repair and Offshore Industry (SINAVAL).

Based on the experiences in this round-table meeting and exhibition, MHI-MME will reflect the voices from our customers in our future products and services for better customer satisfaction.
