Cosco Dalian Ocean orders three oil tankers
Cosco Dalian Ocean has placed an order for three 50,000 dwt oil tankers at Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI).
In a brief statement on its website, Cosco Dalian mentioned that the contract signing ceremony was held in Dalian and attended by the top bosses from the relevant parties.
Financial details of the deal and the delivery dates of the newbuildings were not disclosed in the statement.
Cosco Dalian Ocean, wholly-owned by Cosco Group, currently operates a fleet of tankers including LPG carriers, VLCCs, suezmaxes and aframaxes.
