Hyundai Mipo wins 228.6 bln won order
Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., a South Korean shipbuilder, said Friday it signed a deal worth 228.6 billion won (US$212.9 million) to build six product tankers for a shipping company in the Marshall Islands.
Hyundai Mipo, a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., will deliver the vessels by April 2016, the company said in a regulatory filing. It withheld the name of the contract partner, citing an agreement to do so.
