Boxship contract for HHIC-Phil
The increasingly busy Subic Bay shipyard controlled by Korea’s Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction known as HHIC-Phil has sealed a deal with Korea Maritime Transport for a 5,400 teu ship. The $48m ship goes alongside an identical vessel it has on order at the yard. Both ships will be delivered next year. HHIC-Phil has no 2014 slots left, with 2015 berths also scarce.
