SITC International is going to exercise options for another four 1,800teu container vessels at Taiwan’s CSBC Corporation. Sources said the contract will be signed by the end of September.
CSBC’s Keelung shipyard and Kaohsiung shipyard will each get two of the newbuildings which are expected to be delivered in the middle of 2016. Price for each vessel is $23.5m.
