Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry clinched an order to build five platform supply vessels (PSVs) for a Singapore-based shipowner.
Financial details and delivery dates for the new offshore vessels were not disclosed.
The Chinese shipyard said the latest orders would satisfy its yard utilisation and give revenue stability until 2015.
The shipbuilder had recently delivered a 300-men offshore accommodation vessel to Malaysia-based shipbuilder and shipowner Nam Cheong.
