Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) organized in late June the delivery ceremony for CLOV FPSO. The event was held at DSME’s E-quay with the participation of many honored guests, including Mr. Jean-michel Lavergne the managing director of Total E&P Angola.
During the construction, DSME achieved 14 million safe working hours on the CLOV FPSO. Based on this remarkable record, DSME has chosen HSE initiative first winner at the TOTAL HSE Award on 19th June in France. DSME’s HSE team successfully managed safe regulations including enclosed spaces such as oil tanks, ballast tanks, and small spaces.
CLOV FPSO is 305m long, 61m wide, and will be able to reach a production plateau of 160,000 barrels of crude oil per day as well as having the capacity to store up to approximately 1.7 million barrels in volume.
