The keel of the shuttle tanker «Western Queen» was recently laid at the yard Jiangsu Hongqiang Marine Heavy Industry in Qidong, China. The vessel is a Wartsila designed shuttle tanker for operation on the Fly River in Papa New Guinea, and she is supervised by OSM Ship Management.
The vessels owner will be P & O Maritime. The charterers will be Talisman Energy Australia PTY LTD and Horizon Oil Limted Port Moresby, PNG.
Delivery of the vessel is expected 1st of February 2014. The picture is from the keel laying ceremony.
