Coastal secures $45m in new contracts
Coastal Contracts unit Coastal Offshore (Labuan) and Thaumas Marine have pulled in a MYR141m ($45.2m) contract for a 300-man accommodation work barge, one anchor handling tug supply and two low-end vessels, Seatrade Asia online reports.
Delivery is scheduled for 2012 and 2013.
The sale is expected to contribute positively to financial years 2012 and 2013 respectively. To date, the group has some MYR711m worth of vessel sales orders awaiting delivery.
