Hyundai Mipo bags Odjfell chemical tanker quartet
Odjfell has ordered a quartet of chemical tankers from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard for close to $160m.Odjfell has contracted the South Korean yard for four 46,000 dwt chemical tankers with an eco-friendly design. The vessels are due to be delivered between January and July 2014.
The vessels will cost close to $160m and the company has an option for four additional vessels.
“The newbuildings will replace a number of old vessels the company has recycled during recent years,” Odjfell said.
