CSBC’s chairman to retire
Taiwan’s top shipbuilder CSBC has announced Robert Lai will take over from Paul Tang, 66, as chairman. Tang extended his chairmanship by a year last year at the behest of the ministry of economic affairs as the yard grappled with the newbuild downturn.
Lai, who takes over at the beginning of July, currently is the director of the small and medium size enterprises department at the ministry of economic affairs.
