Turkmen repair yard on the cards

Turkmenistan is using European capital to build a new shiprepair yard. 

The government of the Central Asia republic plans to sign a memorandum of understanding with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). 


The unpecified loan will go towards a shipyard construction project in Turkmenbashi, near some of the nation’s vast gas deposits on the east coast of the Caspian Sea.
